A welcoming real ale pub in Pickering

The Sun Inn is Scarborough CAMRA’s Rural Pub of the Year in the market town of Pickering at the foot of the North York Moors.

We have been running the pub as a free house since April 2010, and pride ourselves on being able to choose the best selection of real ales from small Yorkshire breweries.

Our cosy bar area has an open fire and log burner.  Newly opened in 2012 is our larger garden room, available for functions and music events, which opens onto our large garden where there is a covered area for smokers, and a petanque court.
